Hello! Today I’m going to talk about my presentation: The legal maternal rights
I spoke about the definition the legal maternal rights, it is the protection given to a pregnant woman, the objective is prevent women lose their jobs, the woman has a secure income, so she can feet and give to de child all the needs, for a period of one year or during the contract. The legal maternal right is a maternity protection law, and expressed in the prohibition of an employer terminating the employment contract, without the prior authorization of a judge.
This benefit is for all women who meet the current employment contract governed. In the private sector it protects every employee governed by an employment contract of indefinite duration; this only doesn’t apply to people with contract fees. Every woman, regardless the type of contract, that has a right of a maternity leave six week before birth and twelve week after birth.
For the father case exist a postnatal too, the father whit current work contract, will have five days from the birth of a child and can use a desired the following options:
· From the time labor
· Distribute the five days in the first month from de date of birth
